Literature Text

The next few hours are a blur, you're not quite sure how you got to the couch, but you curled into a ball at the end of it. You didn't feel afraid for your own safety, even though you’re in a house full of notorious killers and creeps; you’re too worried about your friend’s safety that your own safety didn’t matter.  Your friend has been there for you, since you guys were little; they also protected you when something bad happened, and the idea that you’re going to cause their death pains you deeply.

Your mind drifts, in and out. All concept of time is gone, your thoughts drift to the idea of running out of the house and save your friend from them. You slowly glance to the front door behind the wall, all you had to do is book it. Nothing in your way, maybe with some dumb luck you can get to your friends. If only you had your phone, you could text ‘em and warn them. As if reading your mind, Jeff silently moves in front of the living room doorframe, leaning on it, locking his eyes on you.

Something nudges your right arm, you look over and see Ben holding a controller. He silently offered the controller, you gave a slight smirk and shake your head.  You open your mouth to say something, but then Splendorman comes jingling in.  "___, was it?" You look over, and nod. "Yeah?" you say, your voice coming in softly.

"Slender wishes to speak with you." He says, offering his hand with a silly cheerful grin. You bury your head into your lap. "Last thing I want is to talk to is him." your mutter under your breath, Your heart speeding its pace as you feel yourself, becoming angry of the thought of see, or talking to Slender. You unwillingly rose to your feet slowly, wanting to dash out the front door instead.

You reluctantly follow Splendor upstairs, the hallway just as in poor condition as the downstairs. Along one of the walls look to be a dried, bloody hand print, you and Splendor turn to the left, walking down a dark, long hallway, a light coming from the door at the very end of the hall. The air slowly becoming cold once more, you wrap your good arm around yourself to keep warm. You two pass many doors on your way to Slender, if your weren’t so upset you would of asked about them.
The two of you reach the door, Splendor opens it up, holding the door for you. You step into an office looking room, books lining the far wall, a desk and few chairs at the left end of the room, where Slender is hunched over scribbling things down, a window letting in moonlight, silhouetting Slender.

Slender looks up from the papers, he stops writing, crossing his bony fingers together. You’re preparing for a full out shout match, if he’s going to kill _(best friend)_, your first balling up as you stare at him.  As if reading your mind, he calmly points to a seat then slides a paper across the desk in front of the desk. "Wh- what's…" your voice trails off, staring down the neatly written paper. You hesitantly, take a seat in front of Slender. "What is this?" you say finishing your sentence, taking the paper slowly. On top of the paper in big bold letters "Contract".
Slender clears his throat, giving a look at his Brother, whom lovers his head and leaves, shutting the door behind him. You stare at the door with concern, you didn’t want to be in the room alone with Slenderman. Before you could read through the paper, Slender interjects.

"If you’re so willing to offer your life and soul in exchange for your friends, so be it… sign there, and you have my word that your friend will be unharmed, excluding of course… their memory wiped clean…" He begins, setting a pen near you. "This is more taxing for me and a hassle, but my brother insists that I take your offer." Slender says, folding his arms.
You lift the pen quickly, and sign your name across the bottom without thinking. You pause for a moment, looking at your signature at the bottom of the unread paper. Slender’s hand grabs the paper from you without warning, and tucks it away into his suit’s inner pocket.

"Now, my friend won't be killed, right? How do I know this isn't some trick?" you ask, shooting a glare at the stern Slenderman. "I should of asked that before I signed…" you think to yourself, and mentally face-palming, realizing how foolish it was to sign without ask first. Slenderman straightens himself, the lights above you flashing on and off. The already cold air, becoming dense. The fear bubbling back up, making your breathing become hoarse. The lights shatter with a loud POP , you hold your breath, your nails digging into the seats handles. You attention turns back to Slender, his jagged figure contoured by the moon’s bright moonlight. His appendages emerging stiffly from his back, his being towering over you.

You panic, scared of the terrifying figure in front of you. Your feet move on their own and you dash for the door, you hear things being knocked over behind you, only cause you to panic more. You slam at the door, trying to turn the door knob. However, it’s locked and won’t budge.

Your body is slammed against the door roughly, a hand grabbing your (H/L), (h/c) hair, baring your neck and forcing your head to the side. You wince in pain, your body being entangled in appendages, making it hard to move or escape. You feel a hot breath down your exposed neck, a low growl following he exhale. Slender leans his face close to your ear, "Slender seal of approval, that's how." he growls in a low voice in your ear, you try to struggle free, only to feel him squeeze tighter.

The sound of fabric ripping fills your ears, one you’ve heard several times now. Without warning, you feel sharp, teeth like things stab their way into the crevice of your neck. You bite down, trying to not to scream out. Tears pouring out of your eyes, but this pain is only followed by an immense heat, 10x painful then the pervious bite alone. You scream out, unable to hold back the pain. It feels like something excruciatingly hot, burning away your skin. You couldn’t take it anymore, your body going into shock, until finally you blackout.

You groan, your eyes blinking open. You glance around looking at slowly appearing room, you try to sit up. Only to feel intense pain on your right of your neck, you bite down and wince, forcing yourself up anyway.   "Awake I see." you hear the deep voice of Slender say, you look to your right to see Slender at his deck, looking things. "W-what…. what did you do to me? " you ask meekly, not wanting to move your arms at all.   "It's just insurance. So YOU don't back down from side of the deal. You belong to me now. " He says calmly, he then gestures over to the door. You glance and see the two from earlier this evening, Masky and Hoodie.

"Show _____ to a vacant room." Slender says, and turns back to his desk. They both nod and walk over to you. You’re forcefully pulled to your feet, your shoulder screaming in pain. “Hold on to us if you need.” Masky says stoically, offering his arm.  You shake your head, and the three of you walk out of the office.

You three walk down the hallway, to the other end of the hallway. They went to the door at the end of the hall and open up the door on the very end. "This one works, we're in the room here." Masky says and points to the door just to the left. "Need anything, just knock." Masky continues, Hoodie leans against the door frame to your new room. "Or if someone comes to bug you…." Hoodie says, folding his arms. "like Jeff..." hoodie whispers, under his breath.

You nod, not really interested in what they are saying. You scan the bland room, and frown. You turn to ask a question, but all of a sudden your vision goes fizzy, same goes for your thoughts. You start having trouble keep balance, and then you feel your legs give out. You try to catch yourself, reaching for the frame of the door, but with your vision fuzzy you start fall back.
You feel yourself stop falling back, your mind on a delay.  "That was a close one." you hear someone say, you gain control of yourself. The spinning stopping, and notice the two of them have caught you before you hit the ground.

"Looks like the mark is a bit too much for you to handle right now, then again you are just a mortal." Hoodie says, placing his hand on your forehead.

“Mark?..... it that what’s on my neck?” you ask yourself.

"Don't worry that’ll pass with some rest, you'll feel better in the morning." Masky adds, and both of them help you to your feet.

"Why do I feel so groggy?" you ask, feeling a hand wrap around your waist as you stumble to gain control of yourself again. "It's quite normal. Though…" Hoodie begins, and sighs. "… You really haven't had much to eat, so that might be why." Masky says, finishing Hoodie's sentence for him.  "For now you should relax for a bit." They lead you to the bed in the room, your mark still screaming in pain. You sit down, and sigh. "Thanks…" you say, feeling a bit better.
So I feel I've kind of used slendy too much in this series so this will be the last of him for a bit or at least you won't see too much of him. Just here and there. :P

I like how Hoodie doesn't stutter. It annoys the crap out of me when I see that.
